We Don't Knock, We Clap!
Olá!!! This week was great! It was Sister Durantes last week and we made the fun goal to drink one coconut water everyday!!! We have been super hydrated and now have lots of pictures with coconuts, so it was a success. We also got approved to knock doors here in my mission. But here in Brazil we don't knock, we clap! (Because the doors are different here) I personally think it's more fun!
This week I have been thinking a lot about a chapter of the Book of Mormon that's in Ether 6. It starts off with the Jaredites preparing to go to the promised land. The journey was gonna be long, almost a year! So they had to prepare everything very well. Once they and their boat was prepared, God sent a "furious wind" so that the boat could get to the promised land. But this same wind that made it possible to get to their destination also brought great storms. We are gonna have difficulties in our lives but all of the hard times will help us grow and get to our eternal destination.
I am getting a new companion tomorrow! We will be in charge of only half of our area now because more missionaries are arriving to the mission! Which is great but I'm a little sad to leave behind all of the good people in that part of the area. Especially the people we have been teaching there.
Love you all! Have a great week! I've included a lot of fun pictures.
