I Thought I'd Be Eating A Lot More Fish

Hey everyone!!! These last 2 weeks have been good, we started teaching a guy who studies religions, so naturally he was very interested in learning about The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. We were happy to help! He received lots of the lessons and he always came with questions! We invited him to pray to know if it was true, and he accepted. The next day we discovered he didn't pray so I invited him to pray with us. He prayed and the spirit was very strong, testifying it is true. A couple days later, we decided to invite him to be baptized. He said he needs more time and physical proof that it is true. We were a bit bummed, but the lesson went well and we were able to help him with his questions! 

This week we had a cool experience where we felt we needed to go to church on Friday. Every Friday in the church they play soccer. We went and 2 of the people I had taught in the past transfers were there with a new friend!!! We were able to share a message with them with a member present. This member shared an amazing testimony and it was such a blessing to happen to be there at the right time. We have plans to continue teaching them!

This week we have also had 2 other sisters staying in our apartment, which has been very fun!!!! We tend to stay up a little too late talking haha.

This week Sister Oliveira and I got called to be the leaders of our missions Facebook page!! I was very excited because I have been wanting to be in charge of the Facebook page!! We also received a computer that we get to use! Yay!

Another cool thing this week was we had seafood for the first time since I've been here!! It was very good!!!! When I got here I thought I'd be eating a lot more fish because we are on the coast, but turns out we eat mostly rice and beans.
