The Holy Ghost Will Always Testify of Truth

HELLO EVERYONE! :) These last two weeks have been stellar!! We have had the opportunity to teach lots of people, 2 of which were a Mom and her son who decided to get baptized! Their baptisms were these last 2 Sundays, one this last Sunday and the other the Sunday before! It has been such a great opportunity to watch them learn together and for us to get to know them! I am very happy for them!

I love December! I love doing Christmasy things! My District got together to sing Christmas hymns to some people this last week and Sister Gomes and I made Christmas cookies! It's funny how things that seem normal to me back home aren't normal here. Sister Gomes loves making Christmas cookies! She is especially good at cutting out shapes! I'm better at decorating haha.

We had a Zone Conference this week and one activity we did was really cool. We split off into separate rooms with our companions to read a part of the Book of Mormon and then took turns praying out loud to ask if it was true. We read a random page and before even finishing the page I was brought to tears by how strong the spirit was. I know this book is true. I know it because I feel it being confirmed in my heart when I read it and when I pray. That was a really good moment for me, because I know the Holy Ghost will always testify of truth, when we seek to know.

Oh also! I finished my training! I passed off my last training topic with my zone leader this week! So yay! Transfers are tomorrow! Speaking of training, I am gonna be a trainer starting tomorrow!!! I got a call from my President last night and he asked me to be a trainer! Ahhh. I was pretty shocked, still am! I just finished my own training and my Portuguese is still not good! I am pretty nervous but also really excited! It's gonna be a new adventure and I will get to make new memories!

That's all of my updates!!! I hope you guys are doing great! I would love to hear from you!

Lots of love,
Sister Ward
