Luckily the Lord Has Blessed Me
Hey everyone!!! What's up?! These last two weeks have been AMAZING!! I love being a trainer!!! It helps that my greenie is the best. We work so well together and it's been so fun. I will say though, that I cried a little after Sister Gomes left with her new companion. She's my mission mom, and I love her so much. It was funny the day of transfers, while I was waiting for the new missionaries to arrive, everyone was congratulating me on being a trainer so soon. I was like thanks, but in my head I was like, I don't know what I'm doing. Luckily the Lord has blessed me.
It really is great to be a trainer. I hope I get to train more people. I like practicing all the missionary skills again and helping her. I don't know, I just feel more useful, haha. After our first day together she wrote me a note and said I was the best trainer in the world. Very cute.
These last 2 weeks have been filled with contacting. We especially made SO many street contacts, my favorite. Luckily Sister Oliveira loves making street contacts too. One day we were talking to 3 people in the street and after getting their numbers and giving them Books of Mormon, 2 more people called us over cause they wanted to see what we had to say too. That was very cool.
Christmas Eve and Christmas were great too!!! On Christmas Eve a member invited us to sing with her to her neighbors and family who aren't members. It was so fun to meet so many people and be able to share a Christmas message with them. Then on Christmas I got to call home, which was for sure my highlight. Well that and the yummy food we had for lunch with members.
This last week we also had a Conference with our entire mission!!! Then the next day we had a pday all together! They rented out this little resort thing for us all to hang out together. It was a blast!!!
I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas!!! I love all you guys! Hope you enjoyed my little update!! Tchau!!
