God Wanted Us to Talk with Him

Hey there everybody! These last weeks have been great. Working lots and trying to find new people to teach! Luckily we have found some and have got to teach the first lesson to lots of people! I love the lesson of the Restoration because it has so much power. 

I had the opportunity to try Ox tail and Cow intestines in a lunch with members. The intestines were slimy. I personally will not be making it for myself again haha. But hey I got through it and can say I have tried it.

This last week we also got to do exchanges! It was my first exchange! It was super fun cause I got to be with another American Sister for a day and we talked and talked and talked. I had to ride the bus for 10 hours in one day for the exchange.

One cool experience happened when we were doing street contacting. It was a clear day when out of nowhere it started raining and Sister Gomes and I ran under a store shelter where lots of other people were seeking shelter. We were like okay, now what?? Then I had a feeling to talk to one specific guy who was also taking shelter in the same space. I was like, Sister Gomes we need to talk to him, so we did. Right after we got his contact information and gave him a Book of Mormon, it stopped raining. I had a feeling that God wanted us to talk with him at that moment. Very cool.

We also got 2 more Elders in our district! It is so fun to meet with our district every week. I made cookies for the District and they are a big hit with all Brazilians I guess!!

We also have been running to the church building in the mornings to play soccer!  It's been super fun and a way better way to exercise than in our apartment.

I also bought a Brazilian soccer jersey, so I am basically Brazilian now hehe.
