Yay, I Finished Week 4!

Hey everyone!! I just finished week 4 of the MTC, which means I only have 2 more weeks of training till I enter the field!!! I am so so excited to finish up and get out there. These last 2 weeks my district and I have been learning Portuguese like crazyyyy. Which has been totally awesome, except sometimes I don't know what is going on because all of our teacher's instructions are also given in Portuguese haha. Google translate is a great tool ;)

My companion and I have been teaching fake investigators (who are just Brazilian church members) and our lessons have been going well! It has been fun practicing how to talk and teach in a different language while having to understand the questions they ask. 

This last week my dad and I have watched 2 super good movies about missionaries. They were called The Spirit of the Game and The Errand of Angels. I definitely recommend both of them! They are soooo good. So that was fun. My last two pdays have also been lots of fun! Last week my family went to see the world's largest raspberry and went to a Brazilian restaurant. The food was so good!!! Then this week my family went to do an escape room. I love escape rooms!!! 

One thing that has really stuck out to me in one of the workshops I got to participate in, is the importance of service. I think that service is one of the best ways to show your love and care. I am super excited to be able to serve and help the many people I come in contact with!!
